The Centennial Building
This new Centennial building, opened early 2018, is a state-of-the-art teaching facility providing the school with an additional 5,000 sq metres of large light-filled classrooms, music studios and flexible discussion areas. (More information about this exciting new development may be viewed on the "Centennial Building" page on this website.)
It replaces the original Hanna Block, built in 1936, which was discovered to have severe structural problems resulting in the Board's decision to replace the building with a new state-of-the-art facility.
The Centennial Building provides a link to all the other campus buildings by way of bridges, and houses the 'Hanna Street' along the length of the building, continuing to honour Sam Hanna, who was Chairman of the Board in the 1940s.
